Settimo Bracelet 20/16mm - Yellow Gold

See It On A Watch

Seven links in PVD gold. Warm light. Hard wear.

The Settimo's seven-piece architecture, elevated with a rich PVD yellow gold finish — engineered to push visual brilliance further, now in radiant warm light.

Across seven distinct sections, the golden facets catch and reflect light from every angle as the bracelet drapes over the wrist. Built on a foundation of solid 316L stainless steel and finished with a durable Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) gold coating, it resists wear, scratches, and fading far better than ordinary plating.

Each machined link is connected by robust screw-type link pins for heavy-duty longevity and easy sizing, with a graceful 20mm-to-16mm taper and a seamless butterfly deployment clasp — vintage grandeur, modern engineering.

Made for our cases. Gilded to endure.
PVD gold that wears like steel — on a screw-link build you can resize at home.

Seven links, gilded.
The seven-piece Settimo architecture in warm PVD yellow gold — denser articulation, richer light.

PVD that lasts.
A hard Physical Vapor Deposition coating, not soft plating — far more resistant to scratches, wear, and fading.

Built for our cases.
The end-links are shaped to seat against Lucius Atelier case profiles — not a loose generic fit. It fits across our range only.

Solid steel, screw-link.
Solid 316L stainless steel, with links connected by screw-type pins — not friction collars. Resize cleanly with a screwdriver; the links won't creep or rattle.

Fits Lucius Atelier cases only

The end-links are shaped to our case profiles — this bracelet does not fit generic 20mm lugs or OEM Seiko cases.

Tighten the screws before wear

Link screws ship slightly loose so you can resize easily. Before wearing, tighten every link screw fully — a small drop of threadlocker keeps them from backing out over time.

Questions, Answered

Everything worth knowing before you build.

Which cases does this bracelet fit?

It fits the Lucius Atelier case range — every Ultra Thin Edition case except the Bauhaus 33 (18mm lugs) and the Seiko-Dweller 36mm (9mm lugs, and it ships with its own integrated bracelet), plus our classic-range cases (Datejust, Explorer, GS, GS Diver, and our SKX013 family). The end-links are shaped to seat against our case profiles. See the linked compatibility grid on the product page for the full list.

Will it fit a standard Seiko or a generic 20mm case?

No. Unlike a strap or NATO — which fit any 20mm lug — our bracelets use solid end-links shaped to our case profiles. That precise fit is what makes them look built-in rather than bolted-on, but it means they won't fit OEM Seiko cases or generic 20mm lugs. They're made for Lucius Atelier cases only.

How do I resize the bracelet?

The links are joined by screw-type pins. Use a small precision screwdriver (not included) to back out the screws and remove links evenly from both sides of the clasp until it fits, then refit the screws. On clasps with micro-adjustment, set your base size by links first, then fine-tune at the clasp. Take care not to lose the tiny screws.

My bracelet feels loose or a screw backed out — is that normal?

On a new bracelet, yes — the link screws ship slightly loose so you can resize easily. Before wearing, tighten every link screw fully with a small screwdriver. A tiny drop of threadlocker on each is optional but recommended — it stops them working loose over time. Once tightened, the bracelet is solid.

Are spring bars included?

Yes — two spring bars come with every bracelet, ready to fit it to your case. No tools are included, so you'll need a spring-bar tool (or a small flat driver) to fit them.

What's the lug width and taper?

All our bracelets are 20mm at the lugs. From there they taper to either 16mm or 18mm at the clasp, depending on the model — the 20/16 taper is slimmer and dressier, the 20/18 stays a touch more substantial. The taper is listed on every product page and in the collection comparison table.

What are the bracelets made of?

Most are solid 316L stainless steel. The Settimo Yellow Gold adds a hard PVD gold coating; the DLC Oyster a Diamond-Like Carbon coating; and the Seikonaut Titanium is machined from Grade 4 titanium (with a 316L steel clasp and screws for thread durability). Each model's material is listed on its product page.

What clasp types are there, and what's the difference?

Three, and they differ in how you fine-tune the fit.

| Clasp | Adjustment | Found on |
|---|---|---|
| **Butterfly deployant** | none — opens from the centre, sits flush | dress and sculpted bracelets |
| **Rolex-style** | five hidden micro-adjustments, no links removed | the 20/18 Oysters |
| **On-the-fly** | toolless, adjust on the wrist in seconds | Oyster 20/16 Brushed |

How do the bracelet styles differ?

| Style | What it is |
|---|---|
| **Oyster** | rugged three-link sports |
| **Jubilee** | supple five-link (since 1945) |
| **President** | refined three-piece (since 1956) |
| **Grand Seiko-style** | clean, refined links |
| **Settimo** | seven-link, maximum articulation and light |
| **Seikonaut** | sculpted, original design |

Pick by the look you want — the fit is the same across the range.

Should I pick the 20/16 or 20/18 taper?

Mostly preference. A 20/16 taper narrows more toward the clasp for a slimmer, dressier line — it's our main lineup. A 20/18 keeps more width through to the clasp for a sportier, more substantial feel — currently on select Oysters. Both share the same 20mm lug fit; pick by the look you want on your build.

Can I wear it in water?

The bracelet itself is fine — solid stainless steel or titanium, both corrosion-resistant. Rinse with fresh water after swimming in salt water or chlorine, and dry it occasionally. Just note: a bracelet doesn't affect your watch's water resistance — that's determined by the case, crystal, and gaskets, not the bracelet.

Do the bracelets have half links?

No half links on any Lucius Atelier bracelet — the micro-adjustment in the clasp does that job, and it does it more finely. Set your base size by removing whole links (screw-type pins, small precision screwdriver, no pin-pushing), then fine-tune at the clasp. The Oyster 20/16mm [Brushed] has an on-the-fly clasp: nine hidden positions about 1.5mm apart, shifted by hand in seconds with no tools — useful when your wrist swells through the day. The Oyster 20/18mm [Mid-Polished] uses a Rolex Submariner-style clasp with five hidden micro-adjustment positions, moved by relocating the spring bar.

Beautiful and Comfortable

This bracelet is gorgeous and compliments the 1908 case perfectly!! The finish is impeccable and the polished edges catches the light beautifully 🤩 STUNNING!!
This bracelet has solid end links that match the case perfectly!! The precision of the fitment is impressive! No play, no slop—high quality machining and matching. I love the butterfly clasp and the clicking engagement is satisfying.
I am someone who often falls between links on this type of bracelet and for this reason, I am often hesitant on this style. However, this Settimo bracelet has narrow links, unlike others of this type and I am able to find a perfect fit with this one!! Often I either have to wear and extra link for a little too loose of a fit, or take that link out and suffer too tight of a fit where the watch becomes too uncomfortable to wear. I am so pleased to not have that problem with this very comfortable settimo bracelet.
TIP: When fitting the bracelet to your wrist, leave the 12 o’ clock side longer than the 6 o’ clock side by a couple links.
