    A classically-styled handset with a stealthy, modern edge. The Grand Seiko Dauphine Hands in Polished Black pair faceted dauphine hour and minute hands with a capped second hand — each piece mirror-polished in deep black to catch light dynamically across the dial.

    A handset is a small part, but it sets the character of the whole watch. The dauphine shape reads as classic, formal horology — the considered choice for a heritage dress build, not generic stick hands.

    Built to pair across the catalogue.
    Polished black reads two ways — sharp contrast on a light dial, or a sleek monochrome on a dark one. As a standard NH-compatible handset, it fits any build in our dial collection — choose the dauphine for a dress watch, not a tool watch.

    Faceted and mirror-polished.
    Each hand is faceted and finished to a full mirror polish in deep black, throwing a luxurious shimmer rather than a flat matte as the wrist moves. A polished handset is what makes a dial come alive.

    Capped second hand.

    Can I use these on a GMT (NH34) build?

    The hour, minute and second hands fit the NH34. A GMT build also needs a separate GMT hand, which is not included in this set.

    What are the pinion sizes?

    Hour 1.50mm, minute 0.88mm, second 0.198mm. The pinion is the hole at the base of each hand that presses onto the movement — these dimensions match the standard Seiko pinion pattern shared across the calibers in the fit list.

    Will these hands fit my movement?

    Check the Fit Movements list in the Specs tab against your caliber. The handset fits a wide range of Seiko movements — including 7S, 4R, 6R, NE and NH families — because they share a common pinion pattern. If your caliber is on the list, these hands fit.

    Do the hands come with lume?

    These are metal hands without a lume application. They suit dress and heritage builds where a clean, formal look is the goal.
