Will these hands fit my movement?

Check the Fit Movements list in the Specs tab against your caliber. The handset fits a wide range of Seiko movements — including 7S, 4R, 6R, NE and NH families — because they share a common pinion pattern. If your caliber is on the list, these hands fit.

What are the pinion sizes?

Hour 1.50mm, minute 0.88mm, second 0.198mm. The pinion is the hole at the base of each hand that presses onto the movement — these dimensions match the standard Seiko pinion pattern shared across the calibers in the fit list.

Can I use these on a GMT (NH34) build?

The hour, minute and second hands fit the NH34. A GMT build also needs a separate GMT hand, which is not included in this set.

Do the hands come with lume?

Yes — these hands are filled with 100% Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 Grade A, for a long-lasting blue glow at night, with a clean metal finish for daytime wear.

These are stunning - so happy I replaced my original mod hands with these. The finish is impeccable, and the look gives my watch the classic tool watch vibe I was looking for.

Almost Perfect. Tough Fit.

The BGW9 Sword Hands are a great match for my Modern Milsub Homage. The Lume is evenly applied and bright. However, the diameter of the minute hand hole was slightly too small for the NH35 I was using. after some time fighting with it, I was able to get in on. However, it slightly deformed and created a cone shape on the pinion. Luckily the seconds hand covers this up for the final result.

Great look, but tough fit

As another reviewer mentioned, the hands look great, but the minute hand on two different sets I ordered were almost impossible to fit on the NH35 pinion. The hole on the minute hand needs to be slightly larger for a better fit.

A bit of honest context: all our hands are made to Seiko's official TMI specifications (https://timemodule.com/upload/category/24/spec_sheet/NH35_SS.pdf), and every hand is a firm friction fit by design — not just the minute hand. Hands are genuinely one of the toughest parts of Seiko modding, and that snug fit is exactly what keeps them secure once seated.

The single biggest thing that makes them easy to fit is the tool. I'd strongly recommend a proper hand-setting tool like the Bergeon 8935 (4-position) over a cheap or manual pusher such as the Bergeon 7404 — the inexpensive tools genuinely worsen the experience and can make a good fit feel impossible. With a tool like the 8935 pressing straight down and evenly, the same hands go on cleanly and the whole mod becomes genuinely enjoyable rather than a fight. It's the one place I'd say don't skimp — the right tool changes everything.
