Will these hands fit my movement?

Check the Fit Movements list in the Specs tab against your caliber. The handset fits a wide range of Seiko movements — including 7S, 4R, 6R, NE and NH families — because they share a common pinion pattern. If your caliber is on the list, these hands fit.

What are the pinion sizes?

Hour 1.50mm, minute 0.88mm, second 0.198mm. The pinion is the hole at the base of each hand that presses onto the movement — these dimensions match the standard Seiko pinion pattern shared across the calibers in the fit list.

Can I use these on a GMT (NH34) build?

The hour, minute and second hands fit the NH34. A GMT build also needs a separate GMT hand, which is not included in this set.

Do the hands come with lume?

Yes — these hands are filled with 100% Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 Grade A, for a long-lasting blue glow at night, with a clean metal finish for daytime wear.

These aren't your run of the mill MM hands. I was happily surprised at the subtle beveled edges and pleased with how they capture the reflections. I could write 3 other reviews but the dial and Seikonaut case are also 5 stars.

Great finish, long lasting lume

I love them, I already put them in a mod, the blue BGW9 is not super strong but last well, typical for BGW9. The seconds hand is the best of its kind I’ve seen, but I still prefer it to be longer, I know the original is short but I did not used it for this reason. I would love to see a version of these hands with brushed top and polished bevels, with a longer seconds hand.

I do not sell any in black. They look black because of simple physics. Given that it is mirror polished, when it is taken at 90 degrees close up, it reflects 100% the blackness of the camera. Hence, it looks black. This is the same issues where other customers have taken their photos.
