Stardust Dial v4 (GMT) [For NH34]

LIMITED EDITION · 100 pieces only. Once this run sells out, this dial is retired for good — never remade.

The Stardust Dial. Glossy Black Enamel. A GMT Sky.

A highly glossy black enamel ground scattered with iridescent flecks that catch the light like distant stars across a night sky. The Stardust v4 GMT carries that celestial face into a 24-hour layout, with angled, mirror-polished silver applied indices that throw a different sheen at every turn.

No two are ever quite alike — the flecks fall differently on every dial, so each piece carries its own constellation.

Handle the minute markers with care

The minute markers are extremely tiny, held by a correspondingly tiny patch of adhesive — so they shift or pop off if touched. Work this dial only with clean tools and a steady hand; it's one for experienced modders and professional watchmakers. (The logo and "Automatic" text are firmly applied — they won't lift in normal handling.)

Questions, Answered

Everything worth knowing before you build.

Will this dial fit my case?

Yes, almost certainly. This is a standard 28.5mm dial — the industry-standard size for Seiko mod builds. It fits any case designed for a 28.5mm dial, whether that's a Bauhaus 33, an SKX013, or another aftermarket case. The matched case shown with a dial is an aesthetic pairing, not a fitment requirement.

Why does the dial have four legs?

The dial ships with four legs so it fits two different crown positions. Seiko movements come in 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock crown layouts, and the dial feet sit in different places for each. Clip off the two legs that don't match your crown position — two stay, two go.

Can this GMT dial run on an NH35 or NH36?

It's made for the NH34 GMT movement. It will physically sit on an NH35/36, but the larger 2.7mm GMT centre hole will show — a cosmetic trade-off. For a clean result, use the NH34.

Are the markers on this Stardust dial printed or applied?

Applied — the indices are mirror-polished silver markers applied to the enamel surface, not flat-printed.

Does this Stardust dial have lume?

No — this version's indices are mirror-polished silver and are not lumed.

How delicate are the minute markers?

The minute markers are extremely tiny with a correspondingly tiny patch of adhesive, so they can shift or pop off if touched. Handle with clean tools and a steady hand — this dial suits experienced modders. The logo and "Automatic" text are firmly applied and don't lift in normal handling.

What's the difference between the Stardust versions?

The Stardust face is shared; the versions differ by complication — Date, No Date, Day-Date (NH36), Open Heart (NH38), and GMT (NH34). Match the version to your movement; the comparison table on each page lays them out.

Can you remove the logo from the dial?

Our own dials carry the logo on an adhesive backing rather than a permanent stamped or engraved marking, so it isn't baked into the dial. In practice, though, removing one cleanly isn't realistic — the adhesive doesn't release without scratching or marking the dial surface, and on enamel dials especially the risk is high. We sell our dials as-is and don't modify them further. You're welcome to remove the logo yourself or have a modding specialist do it for you — just go in knowing the dial face will likely pick up some cosmetic marks.

Is this a limited edition — will it be restocked?

Yes, it's a limited edition, and it will not be restocked. Once the run sells out it's retired for good. The edition size is shown on the product page.
