This geometrical pattern origins from Ancient China to depict sea on geographic map. However for thousands of years, the Japanese have heavily utilised this geometrical pattern from kimono fashion, to pottery and more. Now it has become an iconic symbolism of Japan.
This SEIKO 5 SNKK87 is an automatic self-winding mechanical watch featuring a 38mm diameter stainless stain case modified with (i) Seigaiha dial with date window, (ii) silver Grand Seiko dauphine hands, (iii) flat sapphire crystal and (iv) blue vintage Italian calf leather strap.
