Will this dial fit my case?

Yes, almost certainly. This is a standard Seiko mod dial — 28.5mm in diameter and 0.4mm thick, the industry-standard size — so it fits most, if not all, Seiko cases. Where a dial is shown with a particular case, that's an aesthetic pairing, not a fitment requirement. If you're unsure, the surest check is to remove your current dial and measure it with a vernier caliper.

Why does the dial have four legs?

The dial ships with four legs so it fits two different crown positions. Seiko movements come in 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock crown layouts, and the dial feet sit in different places for each. Clip off the two legs that don't match your crown position — two stay, two go.

How do I fit this to a 3 or 4 o'clock crown movement?

Remove the two legs that don't match your movement's crown position by clipping or gently twisting them off, then seat the dial as normal — two legs stay, two go. Alternatively, set the movement's crown to the 3 o'clock or 4 o'clock position, superimpose the dial on top, and see how the feet line up — whichever way it aligns, note which two legs need cutting and proceed from there. Does this dial have lume?

Yes — the applied indices are filled with 100% Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 Grade A: a cool blue glow by night, white by day, lasting up to eight hours on a full charge. For maximum glow, pair it with hands that also carry BGW9 so the whole face glows together (hands are sold separately).

Is this a limited edition / will it be restocked?

Yes, it's a limited edition, and it won't be restocked. Once the run sells out it's retired for good. The edition size is shown on the product page.

Are the markers applied or printed?

Applied. The hour markers are applied (raised) indices — raised metal on the dial surface, not flat print. The relief is what gives the face its depth and light play as the wrist moves.

Which movement does this dial need?

This is a date dial, so it takes a date caliber — the Seiko NH35. The NH36 day-date fits too; you just won't see the day. Some modders deliberately choose the NH36 here to future-proof the build — that way they can later swap to a day-date dial without changing the movement. Fit NH-compatible hands and you're set.

Are hands included with this dial?

No — dials and hands are sold separately. This listing is for the dial only; choose a matching handset to complete the build. If your dial is lumed, pairing it with lumed hands in the same lume type keeps the whole face glowing together.

Very nice dial

Very beautiful dial and I think the best tiffany blue dial on the market I paired it with this case and bezel (from different stores), I gave it 3 stars because mine came with a small dot that I tried so hard to remove with rodico but it’s not going anywhere and looks like a manufacturing defect, but overall I really like the dial and the lume is great.

Ordered parts on Sunday from Lucius and package was delivered in two days by FedEx. It was faster than ordering Amazon Prime locally. Oh Boy! Beautiful Dial, Matching hands , excellent bracelet, butterfly clasp and came with sapphire case back. BG-9 Lume is also beautiful and matches well with the dial color. For the price I paid and the quality of the components - You got my future business. 40 min assembly time with the right tools since Case comes pre installed with bracelet , case back and sapphire crystal.

28.5mm dial will fit 4R36 movement. But 28.5mm dial may not be compatible with case that house the 4R36 movement.

Generally it is not the issue of the movement. All seiko movements are standard size. The question would be whether the case fits a 28.5mm dial or not. Most cases that use a 4R36 generally houses a bigger dial.
