A classically-styled handset that reads cleanly by day and glows by night. The Grand Seiko Dauphine Hands in Polished Silver — Luminous pair faceted, mirror-polished dauphine hands with a capped second hand, filled with Swiss BGW9 Grade A lume.

A handset is a small part, but it sets the character of the whole watch. The dauphine shape reads as classic, formal horology — the considered choice for a heritage dress build, not generic stick hands.

Can I use these on a GMT (NH34) build?

The hour, minute and second hands fit the NH34. A GMT build also needs a separate GMT hand, which is not included in this set.

What are the pinion sizes?

Hour 1.50mm, minute 0.88mm, second 0.198mm. The pinion is the hole at the base of each hand that presses onto the movement — these dimensions match the standard Seiko pinion pattern shared across the calibers in the fit list.

Will these hands fit my movement?

Check the Fit Movements list in the Specs tab against your caliber. The handset fits a wide range of Seiko movements — including 7S, 4R, 6R, NE and NH families — because they share a common pinion pattern. If your caliber is on the list, these hands fit.

Do the hands come with lume?

Yes — these hands are filled with 100% Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 Grade A, for a long-lasting blue glow at night, with a clean metal finish for daytime wear.

Grand Seiko Lumed hands

The hands are well sized, fits the dial nicely. The blue lume is also great. However, the hour hand was scratched upon arrival, might be the packaging. Otherwise, it is a great product, recommended.

Excellent quality hands

I have had Seiko sary057 a while but i wasnt ever sattisfied it because lack of in original hands. These hands are excellent quality and fit well to my Sary.

Almost perfect but with a seconds hand exception

So, this isn’t my fist set of these hands but definitely the first time I encountered a problem. The seconds hand was just a hair too small to fit comfortably on the pinion. But once I got it installed, the tube wasn’t mounted correctly to the hand which caused it to stick up on one side which required some additional physical manipulation of the hand to get it to sit parallel to the other hands properly. Required me removing and reinstalling several times. Not all that difficult for me as I’ve repaired and straightened bent hands before, but this was a brand new set that should have been better. Took quite awhile to get it to sit right. I'm sure if I had brought it up with Adriel, he would have taken care of me but I had a time constraint and had to get the completed watch shipped in time.

Hands were pristine. Packaged really well and safely, each of them were spotless.Love the blue lume as well.
