Right off the bat, the notable thing about this dial is the color. The stone lights up in sunlight, but is still very vibrant and almost glows in low light. The black veins aren't as dark or sharp as they appear in the picture, but that won't be surprising if you've seen a piece of turquoise before.
The only imperfection is when looking at the hole for the open heart (and I assume also the date window) from an angle, you can see the layer of stone on top of the layer of material that makes up the base of the dial. Possibly covering that edge with a layer of black paint would make a nicer finish.
I paired mine with a black chapter ring, which produced a nice effect.

Once I saw this dial I knew I had to have it. I created a custom watch for my wife based on this open heart dial because it was so beautiful. This is a perfect match for the Lucius Atelier Grand Seiko dauphine hands. Can’t wait till she opens this for Christmas.
