    The leaf hand is one of the most quietly distinctive shapes in traditional watchmaking — wider at the centre, tapering to a clean point, with a subtle curve that catches light differently from every angle. On a pale or textured dial, it reads as considered rather than decorative.

    These are PVD-blued to a deep, consistent blue across the whole handset. The colour comes from a Physical Vapor Deposition process applied to the polished steel surface — durable, even-toned, and resistant to the patchy fading that painted hands develop over time.

    A shaped hand is what makes a dial feel intentional.
    The leaf profile pairs cleanly with white, cream, or lightly textured dials where the silhouette does the work.

    The wider midsection of the leaf profile creates a visual rhythm across the dial — hour and minute hands that read immediately, without competing with index markers or a busy chapter ring.

    PVD blueing — colour in the steel, not on it.
    Physical Vapor Deposition deposits the blue tone directly into the surface rather than coating over it. The result is a colour that holds up to normal handling without chipping or wearing through unevenly.

    Will these hands fit my movement?

    Check the Fit Movements list in the Specs tab against your caliber. The handset fits a wide range of Seiko movements — including 7S, 4R, 6R, NE and NH families — because they share a common pinion pattern. If your caliber is on the list, these hands fit.

    What are the pinion sizes?

    Hour 1.50mm, minute 0.88mm, second 0.198mm. The pinion is the hole at the base of each hand that presses onto the movement — these dimensions match the standard Seiko pinion pattern shared across the calibers in the fit list.

    Can I use these on a GMT (NH34) build?

    The hour, minute and second hands fit the NH34. A GMT build also needs a separate GMT hand, which is not included in this set.

    Do the hands come with lume?

    These are metal hands without a lume application. They suit dress and heritage builds where a clean, formal look is the goal.
