One of the hallmark of Grand Seiko's dial, Snowflake. A texture that is unmistakably rich in traditional Japanese culture.

After numerous months of prototyping and optimising the production processes, we were able to finally achieve our own unique and unprecedented snowflake dial that is unsurpassed in terms of quality. We honestly believe our snowflake dial ranks second only to Grand Seiko's themselves.

Without sparing any expense, these dials were decorated with silver polished applied indices filled with the highest grade luminous pigment - Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9 A Grade.

**Note: BGW9 A Grade is the highest grade ever produced by Super-LumiNova®. BGW9 X1 is non-existent. BGW9 A Grade luminous is remarkably brighter than Standard Grade. Henceforth, expect luminous differences when you pair with Standard Grade mod parts.

Beautiful Texture

I’ve never seen a GS snowflake dial in-person, so I can’t compare them, but this dial has fantastic lume, and a beautiful, subtle texture. It looks very classy. Indices are trimmed with polished silver and go nicely with polished silver hands. I bought an extra for use on some future project.

Amazing Lume

To say the lume on this dial took me by surprise was an understatement. As a lume junkie, I consider Seiko dive watch lume to be pretty much the gold standard. Most watch parts with lume sold on the internet are what I consider fakers. They put up a good show for 5-10 mins and they poop out. Kudos to the Lucius team! I dunno what they put on this dial, but it shines with my Seiko samurais, monsters, and Zelos Swordfish all through the night. The initial glow is nice, but the true test is checking it hours later, and this dial holds up! Wouldn't hesitate to buy another dial here. Now, if only your team would produce a chapter ring with equal lume quality. Please consider this. The LCBI lumed chapter ring is a faker. It goes dark in no time.
