Grand Seiko Dauphine Hands - Polished Blue Second

See It On A Watch

The Dress-Watch Handset. Silver Hands. One Blue Accent.

A classically-styled handset with a single point of colour. The Grand Seiko Dauphine Hands in Polished Blue Second pair mirror-polished silver dauphine hour and minute hands with a polished blue second hand — a clean dress profile lifted by one deliberate accent.

A handset is a small part, but it sets the character of the whole watch. The dauphine shape reads as classic, formal horology — the considered choice for a heritage dress build, not generic stick hands.

Built to pair across the catalogue.
Silver hands keep a tonal read on steel and silver-tone dials, while the blue second adds a single point of interest. As a standard NH-compatible handset, it fits any build in our dial collection — choose the dauphine for a dress watch, not a tool watch.

Silver hands, blue second.
Mirror-polished silver hour and minute hands deliver a crisp, diamond-like light, paired with a polished blue second hand for a deliberate pop of contrast — modern interest on a classic profile.

Capped second hand.
A blue cap sits over the centre pinion, concealing it for a seamless, uninterrupted finish — the detail that separates a considered dress build from an assembled one.

Heads up — hands are one part of the build

Dial. Hands are paired with a dial. For a matched silver-tone build, browse our dial collection .

Movement. Hands press onto the movement's pinions — check the fit list in the Specs tab against your caliber before ordering.

Questions, Answered

Everything worth knowing before you build.

Can I use these on a GMT (NH34) build?

The hour, minute and second hands fit the NH34. A GMT build also needs a separate GMT hand, which is not included in this set.

What are the pinion sizes?

Hour 1.50mm, minute 0.88mm, second 0.198mm. The pinion is the hole at the base of each hand that presses onto the movement — these dimensions match the standard Seiko pinion pattern shared across the calibers in the fit list.

Will these hands fit my movement?

Check the Fit Movements list in the Specs tab against your caliber. The handset fits a wide range of Seiko movements — including 7S, 4R, 6R, NE and NH families — because they share a common pinion pattern. If your caliber is on the list, these hands fit.

Do the hands come with lume?

These are metal hands without a lume application. They suit dress and heritage builds where a clean, formal look is the goal.

Customers praised these dauphine watch hands for "excellent quality" and "superb" mirror-polished finish that "reflects light wonderfully." The blue second hand "pops bright blue at the right angle." Shoppers noted "perfect fit" and appreciated the careful packaging. Some mentioned minor installation challenges with the second hand being "slightly too tight."

Awesome hands for a decent price

Really high quality hands. I got some other cheap ones too and they're like night and day. These hands felt much sturdier and the finishing looks perfect.

Grand Seiko Dauphine Hands - Polished Blue goes great with StarDust Dial

Hands were exactly as described and finished beautifully. The blue seconds hand pops yet is still somewhat discrete with the stardust dial depending on the lighting and angle.

Great value for money!

Delivery within Singapore was fast! Placed my order on Thursday, and got the hands on Saturday, very impressed by the prompt shipping.

The hour and minute hands are polished to a mirror finish, and look amazing when viewed in light. Would love them even more if the bevel around the edges were just a little thicker!

The blue seconds hand is a sight to behold, looking almost like an enamel blue when light shines on it at the right angle.

Baby Grand Seiko!

Thanks for delivery.
The polished hands and blue second hand is very beautiful!
I think SNKL41 became BABY GRAND SEIKO from Baby SARB.
AWESOME!!

The hands replaced with ceramic tweezers.
I'm slightly sad that the hands were tiny scratches.

Definitely looks like a Baby Grand Seiko! Nice job!! Yes, I wouldn't recommend using tweezers for hands installation unless you have super steady hands. Else you really risk scratching the hands. My best recommendation is to use putty and a toothpick. Easy and risk-free! =)
