The pilot handset is built for instant legibility — broad, confident hour and minute hands with a clean second hand, the layout that made flieger-style watches readable at a glance. In a polished blue finish, it carries that tool-watch clarity into a dressed-up build.
These are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® BGW9, so the time stays readable in the dark as well as the light. This is the improved version, with multiple layers of BGW9 for a noticeably brighter, longer-reading glow.

These polished blue pilot watch hands feature BGW9 lume and receive universal praise. Customers said they are "stunning" and "flash brilliantly in the light." The deep blue finish appears subtle in low light but pops in sunlight. Strong lume and high polish quality noted. One customer mentioned the blue finish is only on the front, not truly blued steel throughout.

Beautiful blue coloured hands that sparkles when it catches the light is a delightful upgrade giving the watch a touch of colour. Not listed but fits perfectly on the 4R36 movement of my SRPD. I used a lightning aftermarket second hand though.

I was really impressed by how these hands shone in the light. They have a deep blue in low light but shine brilliantly in the sun. I paired them with the Stardust dial and they couldn’t have matched any better.

The hands look amazing, I especially like the lume on the seconds hand. They are a perfect fit, high quality, and great all around
I originally bought these for a SKX011 build with silver dial and chapter ring, as well as a blue bezel insert (Pic included for reference). After installing them onto the dial and into the watch it became apparent the second hand was near unreadable. So that idea was scrapped, before i even installed chapter ring and insert! LOL So i had this old dark matte blue SKX009 dial laying around as well as a spare 7s26 and a Seiko 5 SNXS73 case. I absolutely love it! Looks best IRL, but added a few pics for your consideration. The quality of these is excellent and the blue lume, although not as bright as green does last quite a while. Can see them glowing away whilst bedside. Although not heat blued, they glow with an amazing radiance. Even if the dial is washed out with glare (no AR), the hands glow with a shimmering brilliance that makes them easy to read. I think its a keeper, and a little different as well.

I bought these for a build with a meteorite dial, the hands are stunning, they are not true “ blued” steel though as finishing is only on the front of the hands but I’m being very picky here, would definitely recommend though

This is as close to a true blued finish as I've seen without actual bluing.
I had high expectations for these parts based on reading previous reviews. The parts are far better than I expected. The blue hands flash brilliantly in the light which indicates the very high level of polish and flatness in the parts. The entire parts flashes at the same time, you can't get that without absolute flatness in the part.
I originally bought the bronze medallion dial to go into a bronze baby tuna build but I have a green dial in there now that goes surprisingly well so I need to come up with something that does this dial justice.
The parts were very well packaged and even came with a nice handwritten note from Adriel. I will be a repeat customer!
Love the shade of blue. Dark, subtle, and unassuming at a glance, but really pops in the light.
