Hands

All our hand sets are made for the Seiko NH family. The mounting bores are identical across NH movements — second, minute and hour hands press onto the same pinion stack whether you're running an NH35, NH36, NH38 or a skeletonised NH70-series. The one exception is the 24-hour hand in GMT sets, which fits the NH34 only.

Not every set is lumed — where one is, it's Swiss Super-LumiNova BGW9, an ice-blue glow, with the grade stated on the product page. If the page doesn't mention lume, the set is unlumed — many dress styles are, by design.

By design. All three hands are a firm friction fit so they stay put through shocks and daily wear. Fit them with a proper hand-setting tool — a four-position press like the Bergeon 8935 — rather than a cheap manual pusher; it seats each hand square without bending it.

A GMT set adds a fourth, 24-hour hand that reads against a 24-hour track to show a second timezone. It only works on the Seiko NH34 GMT movement — the 24-hour hand has its own mounting bore that other NH movements don't have. Running an NH35, NH36 or NH38? A standard three-hand set is what you need.
