Great looking rotor with a curiosity factor
High quality. Very pleased with purchase.
Just another high quality case that is great looking and easy to work with.
LIMITED EDITION · 100 pieces only. Once this run sells out, this dial is retired for good — never remade.
Lapis Lazuli Gemstone Dial. Genuine Ultramarine. Polished. Open Heart.
A dial cut from genuine lapis lazuli — the highest grade we can source. Deep ultramarine blue, threaded with golden specks of pyrite and only the faintest white calcite. Each one is hand-cut, hand-sanded and finished by hand.
Because it is a natural stone, no two are ever alike. The grain, the flecking and the depth of blue shift from one piece to the next — the dial you receive is its own.
It is dressed with mirror-polished silver applied markers — hour and minute indices, logo and 'automatic' script, all individually applied. The open-heart aperture frames the movement's balance wheel beating beneath the stone.
A standard 28.5mm gemstone dial — for skilled hands.
Cut to the standard 28.5mm dial size, so it fits any case built for that size. Being a solid gemstone with no brass base or legs, it seats by adhesive ring onto the movement's dial holding spacer rather than dial feet — a job for experienced modders.
Genuine lapis lazuli.
The highest grade we can get — rich ultramarine, golden pyrite flecks, minimal calcite. A real gemstone, hand-cut and hand-sanded for the dial.
No two ever alike.
Every stone is unique: pattern, flecking and tone vary piece to piece. The photos show the design, never the exact dial you'll receive.
Polished silver, applied.
Mirror-polished silver applied indices, logo and 'automatic' script — a dressy counterpoint to the stone. The markers are gently adhered and will lift if touched.
A specialist's dial.
No brass base and no legs: it seats by adhesive ring onto the dial holding spacer, and the caseback must not be over-tightened or the stone can crack. Recommended for professional watchmakers and experienced modders.

Heads up — a dial is one part of the build
Hands. Pick a polished silver dress handset from our Watch Hands collection to match the applied silver markers.
Movement. An open-heart dial needs an open-heart-compatible caliber — the Seiko NH38, or the skeleton NH70 / NH71 / NH72 — so the balance shows through the aperture.
Chapter ring. Fitting an SKX013, SKX015, SKX017 or 7S26-0030 case? It must be paired with one of our SKX013 Chapter Rings , sold separately.
Mounting. With no brass base or legs, the dial is seated by adhesive ring onto the movement's dial holding spacer. Take great care — avoid touching the minute markers, and do not over-tighten the caseback.
