Mother of Pearl Dial - Natural / Swarovski Edition (Day Date)

LIMITED EDITION · 100 pieces only. Once this run sells out, this dial is retired for good — never remade.

Natural Mother of Pearl. Genuine Swarovski Crystals. Silver Indices. Day-Date.

Mother of pearl — nacre — is the iridescent lining of a shell. The natural surface shifts through rose, green, blue and gold as the light moves, and because it's a natural material, no two dials are ever the same.

Set into each mirror-polished silver applied index is a genuine Swarovski crystal from Wattens, Austria — precision-cut for a brilliance often mistaken for a diamond. A day and date sit at 3 o'clock. An exquisite, extravagant dial designed for an elegant wrist — a gift from mother nature with an opulent sparkle.

Every dial is one of one.
Because the mother of pearl is natural, the iridescence on your dial is unique — no two are alike, and the one you receive is yours alone. Also available in Pink / Swarovski.

Natural nacre, full iridescence.
Sourced from the highest grade of natural mother of pearl we could lay our hands on. The colour and figure shift with the light, and every piece is genuinely one of a kind.

Genuine Swarovski crystals.
Each silver applied index holds a real Swarovski crystal from Wattens, Austria — the multi-faceted cut Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton and Chanel reach for. Brilliance, not paste.

Day-date at 3 o'clock.
Day and date sit at 3 o'clock. Pairs with a Seiko NH36, the day-date NH caliber.

No legs — aligned by hand.
This dial ships without dial legs for a clean back and manual alignment. There's nothing to clip — you seat it, line up 12 o'clock by eye, and the chapter ring and crystal hold it in place. Fits both 3 and 4 o'clock crown builds.

Heads up — a dial is one part of the build

Hands. A dial needs a matching set of hands to tell time. This is a non-lume dress dial, so pair it with a set of polished dress hands to suit the silver indices — no need for lumed hands here.

Movement. This day-date dial takes a Seiko NH36, the day-date NH caliber. Fitting an SKX013, SKX015, SKX017 or 7S26-0030 case? It must be paired with our SKX013 chapter ring .

Questions, Answered

Everything worth knowing before you build.

Will this dial fit my case?

Yes, almost certainly. This is a standard 28.5mm dial — the industry-standard size for Seiko mod builds. It fits any case designed for a 28.5mm dial, whether that's a Bauhaus 33, an SKX013, or another aftermarket case. The matched case shown with a dial is an aesthetic pairing, not a fitment requirement.

Should I choose the normal or the ultra thin chapter ring?

The choice depends on your dial, not the case — both sizes fit every Ultra Thin Edition case. If your dial has applied (raised) indices, the ultra thin chapter ring is the better choice because its slimmer profile gives the indices clearance instead of resting on top of them. If your dial is flat-printed (no applied markers), either size works. When in doubt, the ultra thin chapter ring is the safer default because it works with both dial types.

This dial has no legs — how is it aligned?

This version ships without legs and is seated by manual alignment during assembly, which gives flexibility on positioning. Best handled by an experienced modder.

Will my dial look exactly like the photo?

No — and that's the point. This dial is made from a natural material, so its pattern and colour are genuinely one of a kind. They shift with the light and differ from piece to piece, which means the dial you receive won't match the photo exactly — it is unique to you. Photos are representative of the design, not the precise piece.

Are the Swarovski crystals genuine?

Yes. Each applied index is set with a genuine Swarovski crystal from Wattens, Austria — precision-cut for the brilliance Swarovski is known for. They are real crystals, not paste or rhinestone imitations.

Is this a limited edition — will it be restocked?

Yes, it's a limited edition, and it will not be restocked. Once the run sells out it's retired for good. The edition size is shown on the product page.
