Let me preface this review by saying this is my first foray into seiko modding. I also didn't really mod a watch so much as assemble a watch.
I solicited some advice from Lucius Atelier, and Adriel promptly responded with answers to my questions. From there, he and I exchanged a handful of emails before I finally settled on the parts and components I needed to complete my build. Before I ever recieved my shipment, Adriel's prompt and inciteful assistance made me an instant Lucius Atelier fan. Three or four days later, all my components (EC36MM explorer case, white enamel dial, black Mercedes hands, and a regulated NH36) arrived in central Arkansas. Their arrival only further solidified my initial impression. The fit, finish, and overall quality was wonderful. Again, I have very little prior experience with watch components to give a definitive comparison, but compared to the handful of other complete watches in my collection, the Lucius Atlier build is right there with the best of 'em.
I will absolutely be back for another build, in what I have a feeling, will be the very near future.
Hands look really well made and I think they will go really well with my recently purchased Turquoise Dial.
