Lucius Atelier is a one-person workshop, and that one person is on holiday for a stretch in early June — so here is exactly what that means for your order, with no fine print.

If you are planning a build this June, this short note tells you the order cutoff, when your parts ship, and what you receive for the brief wait. Five minutes of reading, no surprises at checkout.

Why the pause

One person runs Lucius Atelier — the design, the photography, the customer replies, and the packing of every single parcel. There is no warehouse team quietly carrying on in the background. When the bench is unattended, it is genuinely unattended, and a watch part is not something to leave sitting in a half-packed box for a fortnight.

So rather than let orders drift, the honest approach is to set one clear cutoff, name the ship date plainly, and make the short wait worth your while.

The cutoff, and what happens to your order

The cutoff is 9am SGT on June 1. Any order placed after that moment is reserved the instant you check out — exactly the way one of our case pre-orders works. Your parts are held for you. Nothing about the order is in question; it simply leaves the bench a little later than usual.

Those orders are shipped in order from June 15, the Monday the bench reopens. You will receive tracking the moment your parcel leaves the Singapore workshop. From there, normal carrier transit times apply for your region.

The thank-you — 10% off, and a strap

A short wait deserves something in return. Every order placed after the cutoff receives 10% off its parts, applied automatically at checkout. There is no code to remember and no minimum spend to reach — from a single dial to a complete set of parts, the discount is already there when you check out.

There is also an extra for anyone building from the case up. Add any case to your order — any model, any edition — and a free Lucius Atelier NATO strap ships in the box alongside it. It is a 20mm strap in black and grey, finished with a logo-engraved buckle, sized to pair straight onto your new case so you have something to wear it on the day it arrives.

Can I still place an order while the workshop is away?
Yes. The store stays open and orders are accepted throughout. Any order placed after 9am SGT on June 1 is reserved as soon as you check out; it is shipped once the bench reopens on June 15.

When exactly will my order ship?
Orders placed after the 9am SGT June 1 cutoff are shipped in order from June 15. You will receive a tracking number the moment the parcel leaves the Singapore workshop. Standard carrier transit times for your region apply after that.

Will my order ship exactly on June 15?
Shipping resumes on June 15, and orders are dispatched in the order they were placed — first ordered, first packed. Most orders ship on or within a few working days of June 15. Your order is reserved from the moment you check out, and tracking is sent as soon as your parcel leaves the workshop.

Do I need a discount code for the 10% off?
No. The 10% is applied automatically at checkout for any order placed after the cutoff. There is no code to enter and no minimum order value to reach.

Does the 10% apply to everything in my order?
The 10% applies to watch parts — cases, dials, hands, bezels, crystals and the rest. Two things sit outside it: the Watch Assembly Service, and NH movements. The assembly fee goes directly to the watchmaker doing the hands-on work, and our NH movements are already priced as keenly as we can take them — so neither carries the discount. Every other part in your order does.

How do I get the free strap?
Include any case in your order placed after the 9am SGT June 1 cutoff. The strap is added to your parcel automatically when it is packed — there is no separate step at checkout.

What if I order before the cutoff?
Orders placed before 9am SGT on June 1 are packed and shipped on the normal schedule, before the bench closes. The pre-order arrangement and its offers apply only to orders placed after the cutoff.
