NH Movement Bridge - Côtes de Genève - Spiral Sunburst - Silver

The Côtes de Genève motif is the best known of all the decorations adorning watch movements. Perhaps this is due to its name that initially seems both striking and somewhat strange, or possibly because it is so strongly present on movements. Whatever the case, this pattern traced on the smooth surfaces of mechanical (and indeed quartz) movements is a familiar sight on the watchmaking scene - to the point where one almost forgets that finishes are not a purely aesthetic element.

Here is a decorated NH movement bridge, Côtes de Genève in a Spiral Sunburst design.

With a sapphire caseback, it is all the reason to beautify the movement and improving the aesthetic.

[Installation Guide]
  1. Tools required: (i) 2-3mm flat screwdriver, (ii) 1.0-1.4mm flat screwdriver and (iii) tweezer.
  2. Remove existing rotor with a 2-3mm flat screwdriver.
  3. Unscrew and remove the two automatic train bridge screws on the NH movement bridge with a 1.0-1.4mm flat screwdriver (labelled in red 1 & 2 as show in the photo).
  4. Remove the automatic train bridge with a tweezer (circled in green as show in the photo).
  5. Replace with decorated bridge. Affixed by gently screwing and tighten the two blue screws in place.
  6. Lastly, position and screw down the rotor.

Note: Removable and placement of automatic train bridge have to be done carefully with a steady hand to avoid misaligning the pawl lever (aka magic lever) and popping out the second reduction wheel (the wheel the magic lever clutches onto). The automatic train bridge screws are 1mm in size! Therefore, please ensure you take great care when working with these screws and avoid losing them. Due to difficulty working with a movement bridge, it is ONLY recommended for professional watchmakers and highly skilled/experienced modders with great level of finesse.

Great movement enhancement

It was my first time using a movement bridge decoration, and I was afraid to destroy the movement but everything went perfectly fine.

Delivery was fast and inexpensive. I highly appreciate the hand written card in the box. It was my first order, but make sure I'll order again.

Fast, reliable, high quality

The movement bridge far exceeds my expectations. I’m incredibly impressed by the quality. This movement looks much prettier and thinner in person. The pictures don’t do it justice.

Finishing Touch

This is more than a simple decorated bridge replacement, and it does add a nice finishing touch to a build with a clear caseback.

Stunning visual

The bridges definitely improve the look of a standard movement, and the skeletonized rotors add to the appeal and allow you to see the bridge. For even greater effect, I’d like to see either spiral sunburst rotor or a skeletonized rotor with the spiral sunburst effect. It would be a nice complement to the bridge.

Is there any chance you will have this back in stock soon?

Adriel from LuciusAtelier.com

Hi Logan,

Thank you for expressing interest in our mod parts!

This particular movement bridge — along with the rest of our bridge series — is being discontinued, and we won’t be restocking it in the future. If there are any remaining designs or variants you’re interested in, I’d recommend picking them up soon before they’re gone for good.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Best regards,
Adriel

What's the difference between this and the regular Sunburst bridge? I can't tell by the pictures

Hello ERIC!

Thanks for expressing interest in our mod parts!

>> What's the difference between this and the regular Sunburst bridge? I can't tell by the pictures
The spiral sunburst is a little spiral. The difference is subtle that they can be both be named as the same thing.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you have anymore questions.

Cheers,
Adriel
