Hands are a firm friction fit — they need square, steady pressure, and that starts with a movement that cannot shift. This is our heavy-duty holder for Seiko movements: 70 grams of solid brass with an adjustable pinion supporting the movement from the middle while you press. Version 4 — fitting, finishing and practicality all improved, and the movement now sits flush with the holder.
Sandblasted with stainless steel so the brass doesn't oxidise, and sized to sit snugly under professional hand-setting tools like the Bergeon 8935 and 6012-4-P. Works with or without a press — but the movement never moves.

Very well machined with just the right weight and height. The support **** is easily raised or lowered with the included allan wrench. High quality and recommended to any watch tinkerer.
Tested to fit a 7S26 or NH35 movement perfectly with no wobble or slop. Heavy enough to be stable without being so heavy it's annoying. Came with a decent quality ball-end hex tool to adjust the centre support as well. Very good choice for the price if you work with a lot of Seiko movements. Seems like it will last forever and the Lucius Atelier logo is very tasteful :)
I personally don’t have a Bergeron hand setter, so I can’t speak to how well it works with that. However with general use it worked great with my NH35
I am a hobbyist watchmaker and build, service, and repair many types of movements. I particularly like Seiko/Hattori movements, as they are true workhorses and can withstand a lot of abuse. Consequently I use them extensively in my builds.
I was looking for a dedicated Seiko movement holder, as the Seiko movements tend to flick out of the universal ones. So I decided to purchase this one.
I received it today and immediately used it for a NH35 that I was finishing service on. I have only one word to describe this movement holder; PERFECTION.
The build quality is superb. The height is perfect for both working and maneuvering. The movement fits snuggly and will not fall. Turning the movement to work on either the dial side or watchmakers side is a breeze. The adjustable center screw is great for providing support when installing hands.
I finished servicing the NH35 and will never again use another movement holder for Seikos.

The reason I purchased this holder because it has a 31mm base which fits the 4 position watch hand press tool. The movement holders that came with the tool do not hold a NH35 movement and the Aliexpress holders are too wide at the base.

Having owned the first V1 movement holder from Adriel, which is still great, this V4 just ensures the movement sits lower. It certainly helps especially when regulating the movement as the stem sits much lower in the groove. All of this ensures that the movement doesnt pop out when adjusting the stud and regulating pin. Really great that it fits perfectly in the Bergeon hand setting tool too.
