Great looking rotor with a curiosity factor
High quality. Very pleased with purchase.
Just another high quality case that is great looking and easy to work with.
The plate beside the rotor. Côtes de Genève, sunburst silver. The pairing, completed.
The Côtes de Genève motif — fine repeating arcs swept across a movement's surface — is the best-known decoration in watchmaking, and the natural match for a decorated rotor.
This is the NH automatic train bridge, machined with a sunburst Côtes de Genève pattern and finished in silver by PVD — physical vapour deposition, bonded into the surface rather than painted on. Run it alongside a decorated rotor and the movement reads as one finished piece, rather than one nice part next to a bare plate.
Made to match your rotor.
The bridge finishes the half of the movement a rotor can't reach — for solid NH calibres shown under an exhibition caseback.
Completes the pairing.
The bridge sits beside the rotor. Decorated together in the same finish, the movement looks designed rather than modded.
PVD, not paint.
The silver is laid down by physical vapour deposition — part of the surface, not a coat on top. It won't flake, and it can't be stripped to bare steel.
Watchmaker's territory.
Fitting the bridge means removing the automatic train bridge and working around the magic lever. This one is for experienced hands — see the note below.
For solid NH movements.
Built for solid (non-skeleton) NH calibres under a sapphire caseback — not for skeletonised movements.
Before you buy
Pairs only with our rotors. The bridge is optimised to fit Lucius Atelier rotors and is incompatible with the OEM NH rotor — plan to run a decorated rotor with it.
Exhibition caseback. Like the rotor, the bridge only shows behind a sapphire (exhibition) caseback.
For professional watchmakers & experienced modders only
Fitting the bridge means removing the automatic train bridge and working around the pawl lever (the "magic lever"). Mis-seat it and you can pop out the second reduction wheel. The screws are 1mm — easy to lose. This is not a beginner mod; it takes a steady hand and finesse.
Not for skeletonised movements. A decorated bridge covers the automatic train bridge — on a skeletonised NH70/71/72 that hides the openwork you paid for. For a skeleton movement, run a decorated rotor on its own instead.
Finish & Build
Compatibility
Our movement bridges are optimised to fit only our full range of rotors. Importantly, they are incompatible with the OEM NH rotor — pair the bridge with a Lucius Atelier decorated rotor.
The bridge is for solid NH movements. On a skeletonised NH70/71/72 it covers the openwork, so a decorated rotor alone is the right choice there.

For professional watchmakers and experienced modders. Work slowly and keep track of the 1mm screws:
