December is a very exciting month! With festive season around the corner, we're happy to introduce six new products - two new dials and four new chapter rings.
Without further ado, here they are.
The first dial is The Great Wave off Kanagawa with no date. Created in mind with the love for simplicity. With only hour indices, this dial allows for a clean and clear appreciation of the Japanese art work.
The dial is finished with a highly glossy enamel giving off a lush vibe. Coupled with mirror polished silver indices that sparkles under the sunlight and exudes a seraphic aura. A dial unmistakably gorgeous with a rich history of Japanese art.
The second dial is the date version. Even with the date window, the design still remains a beauty. Alongside an added practicality, we are pretty sure many people will love and appreciate this dial as well.
Both the dials are limited to 100 pieces each and are available for pre-order. The shipping date is scheduled to be on the 28th Jan 2019.

Notably, our dials were designed to be wider and closer to the edge of the inner case. This was done so in order to fully utilise the available dial space. Moreover, this approach visually enhance the case size of a watch.
When it comes to SKX013, SKX015 and SKX017, even with the same dial size as most of SEIKO watches and SKX007, their indices are printed at a smaller circumference as compared to its bigger brother, SKX007. Hence, in order to cover up the empty space of SKX013 dial, SEIKO has designed their SKX013 chapter ring size to pair well with their own dials.
For our dials to fit SKX013, we had to reduce the width size of the chapter ring by about half and still keep the chapter ring angled like the original. To give you a perspective how tight the clearance, the chapter ring is 1.0 mm width and 0.25 mm from touching our dial indices when installed. Any smaller, the chapter ring will be too fragile to produce even though its 316L stainless stain. From an engineering point of view, these chapter rings were by no means easy to manufacture. It was a manufacturing feat!
Even though these chapter rings required less material than SKX007 chapter ring, they were in fact more costly to manufactured.
The good news! We kept the price low for more people to embrace and appreciate SKX013!!!
